This delightful resort, built around an estuary overlooked by the mountains of Snowdonia has the look of a Tuscan Village, with each quirky and charming building lovingly designed by eccentric architect Clough William Ellis.

The surrounding gardens and woodlands are breathtaking, helping to showcase the achitecture even more.

I've been to Portmeirion around 8 times in the last few years.
