Myself,  my better half and our 5 year old wanted to escape London for the weekend to relax and spend some quality family time together.

Calcot manor is beautiful, set in some 220 acres of woodland it couldn't be any more Idyllic.

When we arrived we dropped off our little boy at the nursary where he took part in cooking lessons, games and painting whilst we sat infront of the open fire, read the newspapers and drank tea.

After that we all took a bike ride around the grounds and enjoyed the indoor swimming pool before heading to one of the restaurants where children had their early evening meals.

The service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. It really did tick all of the boxes and we only wish we had longer to enjoy the huge range of spa treatments on offer.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough, whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or a family weekend
