WHAT A NIGHTMARE.We stayed in los christianos at the beverley hills club.(time share apartments). This was all very nice and clean and friendly.

Then we decided to go down town for a nice traditional meal. No chance, the place is full of brits with restaurants or working in restuarants.Where were all the spanish people.? Smoking is permitted in 99% of restaurants, which didnt bode well for us.

Good job we had hire a car so we could get the hell away from their each day. The rest of the island (which parts we visited )were very nice.

So if you want a quiet relaxing holiday in tenerife dont go anywhere near los christianos or las americas unless of course you have a footie shirt and want to party all night and lay on the packed out beach all day.
