I visited New York after I did a fly drive of the west coast of California.

 I finished my fly drive in Las Vegas and flew to New York and it was everything I expected plus more.

Everything you see in the films is what New York is exactly like, the endless amount of cabs, places to eat and drinks.

When I visited the weather wasn't great so and we went on the Empire State building which was not a good idea - if it's cloudly I would say give it a miss as you cant really see anything!!!

I would definately recommend the tour buses as this is the best way to the whole of the city safely.

With regards to getting around underground was cheapest but cabs are easier and you feel safer.

There is so much to see and do and if you like to socialise then New York is perfect me and my friends ate more or less every hour so we wouldn't miss anything.
