Ain Khudra is a very small oasis located 12 km north for Nuweiba, approx. 8 km away from the main road (way from Nuweiba to St. Catherine). This marvellous place is a very beautiful example for an oasis.
Hot water is coming up from the ground and there are palm trees and guava trees.
Only a few Beduines are living here with some goats. I had tea and eat dinner vith the Bedouines. There was an old Bedouin woman dressed in their traditional clothes and jewellery who made bread in an ironplate in the traditional way.
Normally tourists only drink tea here but I had this extra experience.
It is recommend to accept the offered service from the Beduines because access only by 4x4 vehicle or camel.
I stayed in Mousa Camp in Nuweiba, when I made this trip, and the owner, Mousa Hassan, who is very nice, organized the tour for me.
You can call him Telf. 002 010 6371980 and he will organize whatewer you want to see or do - even if you donīt stay in his camp.
