CRACKING TIME
The Great Peter Rabbit Easter Egg Hunt (01539 822222/www.golakes.co.uk/beatrixpotter/egg-hunt.aspx) takes place at the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction in Bowness-onWindermere on Thursday.
Families will search for 100 hand-painted ceramic Easter eggs hidden across the Lake District countryside. There are prizes for every egg found.

CHOCOLATE TREAT
Head to Pemberton's Chocolate Farm (01994 448800/www.welshchocolatefarm.com) in Carmarthenshire to guarantee a sweet Easter break. You can take a 45-minute tour of the factory and enjoy plenty of tastings too. For the ultimate chocoholic, Pemberton's is creating giant 18kg eggs.

DISCOVER THE BARD
Enjoy Shakespeare's Globe Exhibition and Theatre Tour (0207 902 1500/www.shakespearesglobe.com).
Discover the playwright's world through demonstrations, such as sword fighting, and listening to recordings of past performances at The Globe.
Included with the exhibition ticket is a half-hour tour of the reconstructed Globe theatre which dates from 1599.

SCRAMBLING TUNES
Join in the singalong Easter celebrations at Brighton Dome (01273 290337/www.visitbrighton.co.uk) on April 23.

On Easter Monday there will be an egg hunt and egg-rolling competition at Devil's Dyke on the South Downs Way.

SUNNY SIDE UP

LARKIN ABOUT
The Larkin Trail (www.larkin25.co.uk) in Hull consists of 25 specially commissioned artworks linked to the poet Philip Larkin that have been installed across the city.
