The programme, from July 19, includes photographic exhibitions, coffee tastings and dancing.

The Big Apple is getting greener. The surprisingly cyclist-friendly city of New York this month launches a new bike-share scheme. Citibike (citibikenyc.com) will feature more than 400 self-service docking stations situated on sidewalks throughout Midtown and Lower Manhattan.
